The feeling of teeth sinking into the skin makes her gasp. Her excitement begins to race as his sharp, sweet grip tightens and pulls on her flesh until it begins to break. Feeling a little warm? If this gets you all aroused and sounds like an amazing time, you may just have a little kink or fetish for biting.
Odaxelagnia: A fetish or kink for biting
Biting for the purposes of kink or fetish can be intense and animalistic, and often manifests itself when one is highly aroused. Its important to remember that arousal does not have to be exclusively sexual. Any emotion that heightens adrenaline can send one into a state of arousal and biting, in particular, this is one of my favorite expressions of it.
If you’re new to biting, don’t just bite your partner and especially not in the heat of the moment. If you want to try it out, please take it slow, do your research, and experiment with your partner before you’re in the throws of passion. You also want to be careful not to apply too much pressure. How do you know what’s too much pressure for your partner, try it out slowly and carefully. Try different ranges of mouth grip, different areas of the body and varying pressures to see what works. Inside the body there are bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, nerves, blood vessels, and muscles and if you apply too much pressure or apply it in the wrong location, you can cause lacerations and damage to these if you’re not careful. For the one on the receiving end, it’s important to pay attention to your body and communicate it with your partner. You don’t want to ignore any involuntary twitching, immediate numbness, severe pain or anything that just doesn’t feel right to you, because not letting your partner know there is a problem could lead to permanent damage.
For those a little more experience and looking to get a little more primal, just remember there really is a limit to how much tearing (unless you’re into scarification) can be done without leaving any permanent after effects.
Sensitive Areas:
When it comes to biting there are some areas you should be more careful with and some that it may be best to avoid all together. Use caution when biting in the nether region, the upper insides of thighs, the stomach, and neck. You should avoid the spine all together and the front of the neck and wrists which contain major arteries. You should also avoid or exercise extreme caution when it comes joint areas, the face or the backs of joint areas.
**Good areas to bite: butt, arms, calves, thighs, and the back(avoiding the spine).
Aftercare:
Ok, the human mouth is just a dirty place and can be home to a wide variety of infectious bacteria. Saliva can contain at least 50 different species of bacteria. So when biting during play, make sure you clean any bitten area immediately after play with mild soap and water. If any skin is broken apply antibiotic cream and cover with bandages to make sure wounds don’t get infected.
Please remember this is not a comprehensive guide or intended to be any kind of medical advice. Before you take a bite of this kink, like with any kink play, do your research, communicate with your partner and take it slow.
