Some refer to the prostate as the male g-spot, and massaging it just right can blow the mind of about any guy. The prostate gland produces the majority of a man’s ejaculation fluid. The massaging of the prostate gland can have a significant impact on the sensation of a man’s orgasm; creating a longer, deeper and more sensuous orgasm. Besides an incredible orgasm, there have also been some health benefits linked to prostate massage as well.

The Prep:

  1. Prevent small cuts and scratches by making sure your fingernails are trimmed and filed.
  2. Make sure you have lots of lube! A water or silicone based lube will work well here.
  3. Make sure your hands are washed thoroughly.
  4. You may also want to consider gloves or a finger condom as well. If you go for gloves, latex free is always a good option in case of allergies.
  5. For the receiver, it also helps to use the bathroom before this type of play. It can help you to relax knowing you’re super clean back there, so take a shower beforehand and give it a little extra attention. If you want more certainty, you can use an enema, but it isn’t a necessity.

Where is it and how do you find it?

The prostate is a marble size gland that is located inside the anus about 3 to 4 inches on the front wall just behind the base of the penis but before the bladder. It should feel a little different than the surrounding tissue and will swell a bit with excitement.

Now that you’re prepared and you know where to go, let’s start massaging:

Tip: Before you get started, it can help to relax your partner by warming him up with a little foreplay first.

  1. Have him find a comfortable position, the most popular one is on the back.
  2. Lube up. Your fingers, his perineum (you know that area between his butt and his balls)and his anus. There can never be enough lube when it comes to anal.
  3. Start by massaging his perineum in a circular motion, gently putting pressure upwards into the body.
  4. When your partner is ready, start with one finger and gently massage the outside of his anus. Insert your finger gently and slowly so that your partner doesn’t tense up. You don’t want to just push on in there, you want to ease it on in.
  5. Gently curve your finger upwards towards the front of his body and slowly insert your finger about 3 to 4 inches until you feel the prostate. You may one to start with just an inch at a time and then gently pull back and forth, as your partner gets comfortable with sensation, especially if it’s a new experience.
  6. Massage the prostate in a back and forth, come hither or circular motion. It may even feel good to apply a little pressure for a few seconds, but be careful not to apply too much. Be wary of using the tips of your fingers to prevent any scratching.
  7. Keep applying the motion that feels best to your partner for an incredible orgasm they won’t soon forget.

Remember to always be gentle with your partner to prevent any internal damage and discomfort.

Tips: Don’t want to use your fingers, try a prostate massaging toy instead and you can also incorporate a handjob into the prostate massage to make for a more comfortable and exciting experience.

No partner, no problem, this technique can be self applied in conjunction with masturbation for an amazing orgasm.

The most important thing you can do is start slow, take your time, communicate and pay attention to your partner.

It’s time to talk about the wide world of anal toys, what are they made of, how to keep them clean and some different types out there.

When it comes to choosing the right toy for anal play, you want to above all, make sure it’s safe. Look for products labeled food-grade or medical grade. Also look for products labeled Phthalate-free. Make sure you do your research and read the reviews on any anal toy you purchase, because unfortunately just because they look and appear to be labeled the same, doesn’t make it so. And yes, read the little book that comes with it too.

What Are They Made Of:

  1. Silicone- These anal toys are said to be some of the more safer, softer toys because silicone is both non-porous and hypoallergenic. Silicone toys can vary in flexibility and firmness and can be a comfortable choice for beginners. When selecting silicone products make sure they are high quality, 100% silicone. This material can be comfortable for more long-term wear. Lubes to Use: If you’re using silicone, skip the silicone based lube, you want to use a nice water based lube instead. Silicone lubes can deteriorate a silicone toy and make it easier for bacteria to form. We definitely don’t want that, especially when it comes to anal toys.
  2. Jelly- A blend of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and rubber, these malleable toys are known to contain Pthlatates. Jelly toys are also porous and will need immediate cleaning to keep them safe for play. Lubes to Use: Do not use with oil based lubes, opt for a water or silicone lube instead.
  3. Glass- Anal toys aren’t just made from any glass, they are made from borosilicate glass(Pyrex). This glass is non-toxic and non-porous. Obviously, glass toys will be hard and rigid and may not be as comfortable for longer use. The ability of glass toys to hold both heat and cold, make it great for sensation play. Always make sure to inspect your glass toys before and after each use for cracks, because although it’s a durable material, it’s not invincible. Lubes to use- Water, oil or silicone, it’s whatever your pleasure with glass anal toys.
  4. Rubber- A soft, porous material, that while flexible doesn’t have near the bend of a silicone or jelly toy. When selecting a rubber based toy, use caution if you have a latex allergy, as some rubber blends may contain latex. Lubes to Use- Avoid oil based lubes here. Water or silicone based lubes are better for rubber.
  5. Metal- Smooth and sturdy, metal anal toys can offer a more intense experience. All metals are not created equal, so you’ll want to make sure you select a high quality safe metal, such as surgical steel. Lubes to Use: It’s user’s preference when it comes to choosing a lube for a metal anal toy, since they’re compatible with oil, silicone and water based lubes.

How to Keep Them Clean:

All toys should be inspected during cleaning for any cracks, damage or deterioration to prevent injury and bacterial growth.

For non-porous toys: Heat resistant non-porous anal toys can be boiled for 10 minutes and then cooled to be cleaned. For those with a less heat resistant constitution, clean with a mild antibacterial soap and warm water.

For porous toys: Never use any abrasive substance or material when cleaning a porous surface, as it could damage it and allow bacteria to form more easily. Use a mild antibacterial soap and warm water to clean. Porous materials can not be sanitized. Remember any toy made from a porous material can become a bacteria hangout, so using condoms and immediate proper cleaning is especially important for these types.

Different types of Anal Toys:

-Anal Dilators

-Tail Plugs

-Inflatable Plugs

-Jeweled Plugs

-Training Plugs

-Prostate Massagers

-Anal Hooks

-Anal Beads

-Vibrating Plugs

This is by no means a comprehensive guide to anal toys, just a some of the most common materials, some general guidelines on how to keep them clean and some different types of anal toys you might find or want to explore.

This is pretty much exactly what it sounds like, training your body for anal sex or larger anal toys (anal stretching).

Some can be reluctant to try anal and most of the time, it’s because they think it might be painful. Can it be? Of course, but it’s not suppose to be. If you’re interested in trying anal, making it more enjoyable or just working up to some bigger equipment, try some of these tips to get you started.

So let’s talk about prep:

You may be concerned about the “cleanliness” factor so here’s some things you can do to make you feel more at ease. Go to the bathroom. Many find having a bowel movement and then throughly cleaning in the shower works well. If you just want to make sure there are no mistakes, you can use an anal douche.

What about the equipment:

An anal training set or anal training beads is a great first purchase. For the more advanced, there are a wide variety of anal plugs available to offer you your ideal fullness. Be cautious when going bigger, a little adjustment in numbers, can be a much bigger difference in actual diameter than you may anticipate. With an anal training kit, it generally includes plugs of graduating sizes. I recommend this in general, but especially for beginners, make sure any anal toys have a flared base or handle for not only easy removal, but also to remove the fear of lost toy trip to the ER.

Part of not only prep, but the equipment should be the inclusion of lube and lots and lots of it. Keep in mind the material of your anal toys when selecting a lube.

Beyond the Physical Prep:

Get your mind relaxed. Tension during anal sex causes those anus muscles to tighten up and that can make anal play less pleasurable. A little foreplay or massage may also help to get you relaxed. Communication with your partner both before, during and after is essential. This can help lessen any stress by discussing what your desires and goals are and communication during and after helps your partner make those goals a reality and the experience more enjoyable.

Start Small:

Use an anal plug that is small in diameter to begin with or maybe you may not even want to start with a toy at all. A good way to begin anal training can be to start with just a finger and work your way up to using toys.

Start Slow:

Start slow with your fingers or a small plug. As the bottom gets used to the sensations and becomes more comfortable, a larger toy or more fingers can be inserted.

**There are products like numbing creams and such available, but I wouldn’t reccomend these, you don’t want to block out what your body’s telling you.

If you’re comfortable with anal and just want to work up to bigger toys, the same steps apply. With anal stretching, just like training for the first time, use lots of lube, relax, start small and make gradual increases. Don’t get over zealous because of your comfort with anal, be patient when trying and working up to bigger toys.

This is just a starting point when it comes to anal training, do your research, take it slow, listen to your body, communicate with your partner and just have an  amazingly kinky time.
