Are you ready to dive into the void and explore the tantalizing power of sensory deprivation? Then you’ve come to the right place. This guide will walk you through the how-tos, safety tips, and the fun of depriving the senses—all while keeping things safe, sexy, and full of trust. Let’s dive in!

What Is Sensory Deprivation?

Sensory deprivation is all about taking one or more senses offline—sight, sound, touch, or even taste—to heighten the others. By limiting what your partner experiences, you can amplify their sensitivity, anticipation, and surrender. Think of it as putting their brain in “sensory overdrive mode.”

Why it’s amazing:

  • Heightens touch and other sensations.
  • Builds trust and intimacy.
  • Turns anticipation into a delicious form of torment.

The Tools of the Trade

1. Blindfolds

The MVP of sensory deprivation. Slipping on a blindfold makes every touch, whisper, and sensation feel 10x more intense. Bonus: They’re widely available and double as sleep aids.

Pro Tip: Invest in a padded blindfold or scarf that won’t let light sneak through. Bonus points if it’s silky and luxurious.

2. Earplugs or Headphones

Take away their ability to hear, and suddenly, even a soft feather on their skin feels like an electric jolt. Noise-canceling headphones paired with sensual music or white noise can really set the mood.

Pro Tip: Avoid accidentally playing your workout playlist. “Eye of the Tiger” is a vibe killer.

3. Restraints

Sure, they still have their sense of touch, but taking away their ability to move makes every sensation feel magnified. Add cuffs, rope, or under-the-bed restraints to turn the tables in your favor.

Bonus Challenge: Try tying your partner up and having them guess what object you’re using to tease them. (“Is that…a spatula?!”)

4. Hoods

If you’re looking to go full sensory deprivation, a hood can block out sight, muffle sound, and reduce touch. Just make sure it’s breathable and comfortable.

Pro Tip: If you’re new to hoods, start slow—having your senses limited takes time to adjust to.

How to Play with Sensory Deprivation

1. The Build-Up

Start slow. Ease them into it with a blindfold or light restraints. Let them know what’s coming to build trust.

2. Tease and Torment

  • Use different textures: feathers, ice cubes, or warm wax.
  • Experiment with temperatures—hot breath followed by an ice cube is chef’s kiss.
  • Play with sound: whisper in their ear or use a vibrating toy near (but not on!) sensitive areas.

3. The Element of Surprise

When your partner can’t see or hear, every touch feels unpredictable. Switch up sensations to keep them guessing.

4. The Grand Reveal

When the blindfold comes off or the headphones are removed, the flood of returning sensations can be exhilarating. Don’t rush—let them savor the moment.

The Safety Do’s and Don’ts

  • 🗣 Do Communicate Clearly
Before diving in, talk with your partner about their limits, triggers, and what they’re comfortable with. Always establish a safeword or hand signal that can be used to stop play immediately if needed. Communication builds trust and makes the experience better for both of you!
  • 🕶 Do Start Slow
If you’re new to sensory deprivation, begin with simple tools—like a soft blindfold and mild earplugs—and gradually explore other elements, like restraints or hoods. This allows both partners to get comfortable and learn how they react to different sensations.
  • 👂 Do Check In Often
When your partner’s senses are deprived, they can’t fully communicate how they’re feeling. Check in verbally or through a physical signal to ensure they’re comfortable and enjoying the experience. Use your safeword or signal for easy and fast communication.
  • 🛋 Do Provide Comfortable Restraints
If you’re using restraints, ensure they’re comfortable, adjustable, and not too tight. Tight restraints can restrict blood flow, so always leave some wiggle room. If you’re using rope, always know how to untie quickly and safely.
  • 🧑‍⚕️ Do Keep Safety Tools Nearby
Have scissors or a safety cutter nearby in case you need to quickly remove restraints or other gear. Also, keep water, tissues, or oil (for wax play or skin care) accessible to soothe the skin or provide hydration.
  • 🕯 Do Use Body-Approved Gear
Ensure any gear (like blindfolds, cuffs, or hoods) is made from body-safe materials, and avoid any sharp edges, irritating fabrics, or materials that might cause discomfort. Always test equipment before use.
  • ❌ Don’t Overdo It
If you’re new to sensory deprivation or if your partner isn’t fully comfortable, don’t rush into extreme deprivation (e.g., total darkness, full-body restraints, complete isolation). Start small and gauge their comfort level. Everyone’s limits are different.
  • ❌ Don’t Ignore Discomfort Signs
If your partner is struggling, shifting uncomfortably, or making noise (even without the ability to speak), immediately check in. Unintended pain or discomfort can happen quickly when one of the senses is deprived, so listen to non-verbal cues.
  • ❌ Don’t Leave Them Alone
Never leave your partner alone while they’re experiencing sensory deprivation, especially if they are blindfolded or restrained. Their vulnerability is heightened, and they need to be constantly monitored to ensure their safety.
  • ❌ Don’t Use Unsafe Gear
Avoid using equipment that isn’t designed for play. Household items like scarves, cheap blindfolds, or makeshift restraints can cause discomfort or injury. Stick to purpose-built toys or gear that are specifically designed for sensory play.
  • ❌ Don’t Deprive Multiple Senses Without Experience
If you’re new to sensory deprivation, avoid depriving multiple senses at once (e.g., blindfold + earplugs + full-body restraint). This could overwhelm your partner’s sense of control. Start by depriving one sense, then build up as you both become more comfortable with the experience.
  • ❌ Don’t Forget Aftercare
After sensory deprivation, your partner may feel disoriented or emotionally vulnerable. Always provide plenty of aftercare—gentle cuddling, reassurance, hydration, and conversation to help them return to a comfortable state.

Here’s the thing: sensory deprivation isn’t just sexy—it’s a trust exercise. Handing over your senses is the ultimate surrender, and being the one in control is a delicious responsibility.

So go ahead, embrace the void, and discover a world where a single touch can make your partner shiver. Just don’t blame me if they demand blindfolds every time from now on. 😉

Impact play is one of the most popular and well-known aspects of BDSM—chances are, you’ve heard of it, and many of you have even given it a try. From spanking to paddling, flogging to cropping, this playful practice transforms simple strikes into a symphony of sensations. Impact play is all about mixing style, finesse, and a hearty dose of enthusiasm to create thrilling and intimate experiences. Let’s dive into the art of the smack and uncover what makes it so irresistible!

What Is Impact Play?

Impact play is a BDSM practice that involves striking the body with hands, paddles, floggers, crops, or other implements to create physical and psychological sensations. Done right, it’s a beautiful dance between pleasure and pain, trust and power.

Why is it so much fun?

  • The rush of endorphins (hello, natural high!).
  • The delicious build-up of anticipation.
  • The primal, visceral connection it creates.

Basic Tools of the Trade

1. Hands

Ah, the classic. There’s nothing quite like a good old fashioned spanking. Your hands are versatile, always available, and provide excellent feedback—literally, you feel what your partner feels.

Pro Tip: Start with light pats and build up to firmer strikes. Remember, spank with the palm, not the fingers, unless you want hand cramps.

2. Paddles

From leather to wood to silicone, paddles come in many materials and shapes. They deliver a concentrated thud, making them perfect for evenly distributing force. Remember to test the paddle strength beforehand.

3. Floggers

With multiple tails made of leather, suede, or rubber, floggers create a unique sensation somewhere between a tickle and a thud. Perfect for covering larger areas and experimenting with intensity.

Pro Tip: Practice your aim! A well placed flog lands like a sensual hug. A badly placed flog hits the lamp.

4. Crops and Canes

Want precision? Crops and canes are your best friends. They deliver sharp, stinging sensations, perfect for those who love a bit of intensity.

Safety First, Sexy Second

Impact play is fun, but safety is non-negotiable. Here’s how to keep it hot and hazard free:

1. Communicate

  • Discuss boundaries and desires beforehand.
  • Establish a safeword (or a safe gesture if verbal communication isn’t possible).

2. Know Your Anatomy

  • Avoid bony areas (like the spine) and delicate spots (like kidneys).
  • Focus on fleshy areas, like thighs and buttocks, for safe striking zones.

3. Start Slow
Begin with gentle strikes and gradually increase intensity. Impact play is as much about the buildup as the payoff.

4. Keep Tools Clean
Especially for shared implements, sanitize everything between uses. An unintentional infection is not the memory you want to leave.

5. Aftercare
Provide cuddles, water, and soothing balms for any tender spots. Both of you deserve TLC after a scene!

How to Play Like a Pro

  • Warm Up: Start with soft, teasing strokes to build anticipation. This isn’t just foreplay—it’s creating a rhythm that gets your partner in the zone.
  • Mix It Up: Alternate between light and firm strikes. Surprise them with varied intensity to keep the experience exciting.
  • Mind the Noise: The sound of a smack is just as erotic as the feeling. Experiment with different tools to find your favorite whack.
  • End on a High: Finish with something memorable—a particularly satisfying thud or a series of rapid smacks. Let them float on that endorphin high.

Impact play isn’t just about striking someone; it’s about creating a shared experience. It’s a conversation without words, a trust exercise wrapped in leather and laughter.

Remember it’s all about connection, fun, and exploration. Grab your favorite toy (or your hand), negotiate with your partner, and let the sparks—and smacks—fly.

Take your playtime to the next level by creating the perfect dungeon at home. Transforming your space into a private playground of pleasure is an exciting and rewarding endeavor, no matter whether you’re a seasoned player or a curious novice. Get ready to ignite your imagination and unleash your desire!

Step 1: Find the Right Dungeon Space

    • Choose Your Sanctuary

The first step in creating your BDSM dungeon is selecting the ideal space. Whether it’s a dedicated room, a converted basement, a walk-in closet or just a secluded corner of your bedroom, choose a space that offers privacy and discretion. Consider soundproofing options to ensure that your sessions remain intimate and undisturbed.

    • Maximize Your Space

If you’re working with a smaller area, we got you covered! Creativity is your best friend. Utilize vertical space with wall-mounted equipment and storage solutions. Mirrors can also make the space feel larger and add a tantalizing visual element to your play.

    Step 2: Setting the Mood

    • Lighting for Atmosphere

Lighting sets the tone for your dungeon. Opt for dimmable lights to create a sensual and intimate ambiance. Red or purple hues can evoke a sense of mystery and passion. Consider adding fire-proof candles or LED lights (they even make color-changing LED Lightbulbs) to enhance the atmosphere without compromising safety.

      • Sensual Décor

Decorate your dungeon with items that stimulate the senses and fuel your fantasies. Think velvet drapes, plush rugs, and luxurious fabrics. Artwork featuring erotic themes or BDSM motifs can also add a personal touch and inspire your play.

      Step 3: Essential Dungeon Equipment

      • Sturdy Furniture

Invest in high-quality, sturdy furniture designed for BDSM play. A well-built St. Andrew’s Cross, spanking bench, or bondage bed can serve as the centerpiece of your dungeon.

        • Versatile Restraints

Ensure you have a variety of restraints to cater to different scenarios. Leather cuffs, rope, and spreader bars are essential. For a unique touch, consider suspension equipment like ceiling hooks or a suspension frame, perfect for advanced bondage play.

Small Space Tips: Secure hooks to studs in wall for a great place to attached restraints. Over the door organizers are an inexpensive way to store all kinds of implements with minimal space.

        Step 4: Safety First

        • Safety Gear

Safety is paramount in any BDSM play. Stock your dungeon with essential safety gear, including first aid kits, safety shears, and fire extinguishers. Ensure that all furniture and equipment are securely installed and regularly checked for wear and tear.

          • Communication Tools

Establish clear communication channels with your play partners. Agree on safe words or signals that can be easily understood and used to stop or modify play if needed. Consent and communication are the cornerstones of a safe and enjoyable BDSM experience.

Step 5: Enhance the Sensory Experience

          • Impact Toys

Expand your collection with a variety of impact toys such as paddles, floggers, canes, and crops. A variety from thuddy to stingy, ensures every session is uniquely exhilarating.

            •  Sensory Deprivation Tools

Elevate your play with sensory deprivation tools like blindfolds, hoods, and earplugs designed to heighten other senses and create an intense, immersive experience.

            •  Temperature Play Accessories

Introduce temperature play into your sessions with accessories like glass or metal dildos that can be heated or cooled.

            Step 6: Organize and Maintain

            •  Storage Solutions

Keep your dungeon organized with efficient storage solutions. Lockable cabinets or discreet storage boxes ensure that your toys and equipment are kept safe and out of sight when not in use. Clean and sanitize your equipment after every session to maintain hygiene and longevity.

              •  Regular Updates

Your BDSM dungeon should evolve with your desires and experiences. Regularly update your equipment and decor to keep things fresh and exciting. Attend workshops, community events or join an online community like, Free the Kink to gain new ideas and techniques that you can incorporate into your play space.

              Sanctuary of Sensuality

Creating the perfect BDSM dungeon at home is a journey of creativity, passion, and dedication. Unleash your inner designer, gather your tools of pleasure, and let your imagination run wild.

Your personal dungeon awaits—May your dungeon be a masterpiece of pleasure and delight!

Bullwhips are not only fascinating to watch, but they are also remarkable tools that have been used for centuries by cowboys, farmers, and other individuals who work with livestock. Even though your intended use may vary, these whips are still typically made from a combination of materials, including leather and nylon. They are designed to be strong, flexible, and long-lasting.

The process of making a bullwhip is a complex one that requires a great deal of skill and attention to detail.

              Materials Used in Bullwhips:

-Leather is the primary material used in the construction of bullwhips. Cowhide or kangaroo hide is the most common type of leather used. The type of leather used in a bullwhip can have a significant impact on its performance and durability.

-Kangaroo leather is particularly popular among whip makers because it is both lightweight and strong. It also has a unique grain pattern that makes it aesthetically pleasing.

-Nylon is another material that is sometimes used in bullwhip construction. Nylon whips tend to be more affordable than leather whips, but they do not have the same level of quality and durability as leather whips.

              Making a Bullwhip

The process of making a bullwhip typically begins with selecting the right materials. The whip maker will choose a type of leather that is appropriate for the desired length and flexibility of the whip. Once the leather has been selected, it is cut into long, narrow strips that will form the braided portion of the whip.

The strips of leather are then soaked in water to make them more pliable. The whip maker will then begin braiding the strips together, using a particular pattern that gives the whip its distinctive look and feel.

Once the braiding is complete, the whip maker will attach a handle to the end of the whip. The handle may be made from a variety of materials, including wood, bone, or plastic. The handle is then wrapped in leather or some other material to provide a comfortable grip for the user.

Finally, the whip maker will apply a finishing coat to the whip to protect it from the elements and give it a polished appearance.

If you are interested in learning more about bullwhips, be sure to do your research, both in seeking out reputable whip makers who can provide you with a high-quality product and in learning how to use this powerful implement.

Rope has a special place in many of our hearts. Of all the types of bondage, rope bondage is the one that arguably looks the most artistic. It also makes for the best connection between rope rigger and the rope bunny. There are few things more intimate than running a rope along someone’s body and limbs, or feeling hands and rope run along and manipulate every inch of you.

              Sounds fun, right?

Now, there are several types of rope bondage. There is decorative bondage, where the goal is not so much to tie you up but to dress you in rope. Harnesses, corsets, and rope bras/panties are usually decorative. There is floor bondage…Where a bottom is tied but remains on the floor. One more type is suspension bondage, where the bottom is tied, then suspended in the air, supported only by rope.

Just like there are all kinds of rope play, there are all kinds of rope, too. Not every rope is good for every kind of play. Choosing the right rope can make the difference between an enjoyable experience and an unfortunate accident (especially in the case of suspension bondage).

Here are a few types of rope that riggers use, and their best assigned purposes.

              The Characteristics of Rope
Riggers evaluate rope based on the following characteristics:
              • Flexibility
              • Texture
              • Friction
              • Stretch
              • Durability
              • Strength

All of these are important to consider when choosing the right type of rope for your activities. Friction is especially important when dealing with knots. A low-friction rope is more likely to slip or tighten. Texture is important for your bottom’s skin…Some ropes, like sisal or manila, are generally not appropriate because of their very rough texture.

Strength and stretch matter most when it comes to full or partial suspension work. You do not want to use a weak rope for suspending someone.

              Synthetic Bondage Rope
A lot of bondage beginners will use some kind of synthetic rope to start. It is inexpensive, widely available in hardware stores, easy to clean, and fairly easy to manipulate. Nylon and polyester are the typical materials.

Nylon RopeNylon rope is quite flexible, soft to the touch, and has low friction and a little bit of stretch. It is very durable and very strong. It is a good choice to get you started, especially if you are interested in Western bondage (as opposed to Japanese shibari). It comes in many colors and sizes, which lets you be artistic. However, please bear in mind that the low friction means that knots are likely to slip or tighten, so riggers must ensure the safety of their bottoms with extra wraps. Nylon rope is excellent for floor play and damsel-in-distress type bondage, decorative bondage, and for support in suspension bondage.

Polyester RopePolyester rope is also cheap, strong and durable. Its moderate flexibility and rougher texture make it a less likely choice for bondage work. It is still viable, but not usually a popular choice in general.

              Natural Bondage Rope
For most experienced riggers, natural materials is where it is really at. The favorite material depends on the activity and rigger; for example, shibari enthusiasts tend to use jute, which is the traditional choice.

Jute RopeJust rope is the favorite choice for both floor and suspension shibari riggers. Jute is flexible and a little rough on the skin, has high friction and low stretch, and it has good strength but low durability. Well treated jute rope can be made to feel softer on the skin, but it needs to be replaced frequently. It is easy to dye as well.

Hemp RopeHemp rope has the same characteristics as jute, but has a noticeable smell and is a bit heavier. Many riggers enjoy hemp because it softens with time. It is also easier to find than jute and is strong enough to manage suspension work as well.

              Linen Rope
Linen rope is softer and lighter than jute or hemp, but shares the same characteristics.

Cotton RopeCotton rope is a good choice for beginners because it is cheap and easily available. It is quite flexible, feels soft on the skin, provides moderate friction, and has a little stretch. However, the durability and strength of cotton rope is low. Cotton can be used for the same activities as nylon rope, but it not really suitable for suspension work because of its low strength. It is great for decorative work as well. Cotton rope is also easy to dye, which means you can buy it undyed and make it any color that you want.

              Silk and Bamboo Rope
Silk and bamboo are used for luxury ropes. These are quite expensive, yet provide stunning results when used. They have the best characteristics of both natural and synthetic rope (flexible, soft, good friction, a low stretch, some durability, and good strength), but this comes at a cost. Bamboo has the bonus of being naturally anti-bacterial and shiny like nylon.

Sisal, manila, and coir are not suitable for bondage work because they are stiff and rough. It would be best to avoid these types.

So…The Best Rope for the Job?
If you are a beginner, nylon and cotton are your best choices. They are soft, easy to work with, cheap, and widely available. As you gain confidence and knowledge, you can move on to more specialized ropes like jute and hemp, depending on the purpose.

              Basics Before Play

Impact play is by far one of my favorite kinks and the most common in my daily  life. I am committed to turning anything into an impact tool. In this first section, we will discuss the basics before impact play. We will also discuss Prep and headspace, spankings, flogging, whipping, caning and tips to avoid leather butt.

First things first. A common knowledge of the human body is critical and if you  don’t take the time to do your research, you should not be practicing impact play.  Just like bondage, there are areas of the body that if struck could cause serious  injury or death, so do your homework. I do not subscribe to “safe play” of any  kind, but a lack of knowledge puts your bottom in unnecessary and careless  danger.

Secondly, bottoms, you have a responsibility to ensure that the Top you are  entrusting yourself to displays the knowledge to sufficiently execute proper  impact play. If you are a bottom and a Top who are learning this journey for the  first time, then you both should be learning together to avoid costly mistakes.

Safewords and safe signals are an individual dynamic issue. However, in my  personal opinion, if you are with play partners or people who do not know you  and your physical reactions well, have something in place.

If limits apply to the scenario, then they need to be thoroughly discussed and  expressly agreed upon prior to any play of any kind. Limits are like safewords and  are dynamic dependent. Again, in my opinion, with play partners or people who  do not know you and your physical reactions well, have something in place.

Understanding the implements of your chosen craft are very important and will  be something the Top will have to explore to find their favorites. I personally love whips more than floggers, but I adore canes above all others. I personally do not  like wood implements, so you see everyone is different and it takes homework  and practice. Just don’t be afraid to branch out and try new things.

Practice first, play later. When playing with an implement for the first time, don’t  just come out of the box swinging. Use things like pillows to take some practice

swats, get a good feeling for the implement. The weight, how it handles, how  hard does it come down and so forth. Sometimes a melon is a great way to test a  new implement. These are questions you, as a Top, need to know before you use  it on your bottom. In my personal opinion, I feel you should be willing to test an  impact tool on yourself as well. You should have some idea of what the tool feels  like, so that you can understand how to use it better.

This list is by no means comprehensive, it is just scratching the surface. But at the  very least, these things need to be taken seriously before you venture into any  type of serious impact play.

What are some of the things you do before you use impact play in your scene?

               Let’s talk about prep

I am a big believer in preparation before a good impact session. I like to bring my  bottom into a certain headspace. Usually I enjoy bringing her to at least one  orgasm, so she is relaxed and euphoric. I like to talk a lot so I can get her mind  thinking. The scene I am trying to create will dictate what I say and how I say it.  Tone is just as important as the words themselves.

Another thing that I like doing is massaging my bottom’s globes (the round fatty  part of the butt), getting her muscles nice and relaxed. I like to use oils vs lotions during a massage.

Something a friend recently taught me was to apply heat to the butt as part of the  prep process. Heat will help blood flow and gives the skin more elasticity. Heat application, such as a heating pad, can help the bottom relax and loosens the  tissue around the heated area. The best part of heat in my opinion, is how it  makes such a significant increase in the bruises that are left behind. It really  intensifies the marks.

Timing in between strikes and intensity of the impact is also a critical component  of an impact session. Coming out of the gate swinging at full scale can sometimes  reduce the length of time a session can last. Starting off slow and easy, taking  small little breaks to rub and massage. Maybe even heating the area back up from  time to time can all have a positive outcome to the session. Only using full force  (this is dynamic specific) for the last 10-15 minutes of the session is also recommended.

What are some things you do for Prep prior to impact play?

              Implements (My Personal Favorite)

Whips – I enjoy using whips, only second to my canes. My favorite aspect of the  whip is the sound it makes as it cracks off the butt of my bottom. I focus more on  delivering a stingy sensation during my whip play. The sting sensation is felt  primarily on the surface of the skin and leaves very beautiful marks. I enjoy the  snapping, because it is common to split the skin. (Not for the faint of heart or  inexperienced). However, the whip is capable of delivering a serious thud if that’s your thing. It’s all in the techniques you use. Some common techniques are overhand, circus crack or reverse snap.

Canes – My absolute favorite impact tool. First, you have to decide what type of  material you will use natural or synthetic. Some natural options are Bamboo,  Rattan and Reed. Natural canes are more difficult to use and care for but are  worth it. I personally like Bamboo. It does however require good maintenance because if it dries out, it will crack, and they are not cheap. Some good synthetic options are Fiberglass, Plastic or Carbon Fibre. Plastic is a great choice for beginners, since it does not require much care and is extremely flexible and easy  to control.

Floggers – Floggers are versatile and come in many options for material and style.  There are so many techniques to master, flogging can provide a lot of fun and  new learning experiences for a very long time. For me personally, I am focused on  trying to learn to Dual Wield and ultimately be able to Florentine.

              Avoiding Leather Butt

What is leather butt? It is a condition that forms from receiving regular, hard spankings over a long period of time. Tends to leave the buttocks leathery from built up scar tissue and desensitized from nerve damage. A couple tips on avoiding this: switch implements often, use lotions and oils on the butt, or soak in a warm bath. These methods will help recuperate the cells in the rump. However, the only real way to avoid this is to take longer breaks in between impacting areas that begin to lose sensation or start to need much harder impacts to give care to those areas. You can still enjoy impact during this time, just utilize other areas  such as thighs, calves or feet.

              Final thoughts

No matter what techniques you are using or what implement you prefer, the  most important things are these. Take time to learn your implements and know  the human body so you can deliver your strikes without hitting the no-go zones.  Keep an open mind and open communication. Study, learn, and research. I love to  impact but I am just scratching the surface. It is a journey and as long as you don’t  ever give up learning and experimenting, you can enjoy impact as a lifelong  pleasure, no matter what side of the slash you’re on.

Some refer to the prostate as the male g-spot, and massaging it just right can blow the mind of about any guy. The prostate gland produces the majority of a man’s ejaculation fluid. The massaging of the prostate gland can have a significant impact on the sensation of a man’s orgasm; creating a longer, deeper and more sensuous orgasm. Besides an incredible orgasm, there have also been some health benefits linked to prostate massage as well.

              The Prep:

              1. Prevent small cuts and scratches by making sure your fingernails are trimmed and filed.
              2. Make sure you have lots of lube! A water or silicone based lube will work well here.
              3. Make sure your hands are washed thoroughly.
              4. You may also want to consider gloves or a finger condom as well. If you go for gloves, latex free is always a good option in case of allergies.
              5. For the receiver, it also helps to use the bathroom before this type of play. It can help you to relax knowing you’re super clean back there, so take a shower beforehand and give it a little extra attention. If you want more certainty, you can use an enema, but it isn’t a necessity.

Where is it and how do you find it?

The prostate is a marble size gland that is located inside the anus about 3 to 4 inches on the front wall just behind the base of the penis but before the bladder. It should feel a little different than the surrounding tissue and will swell a bit with excitement.

Now that you’re prepared and you know where to go, let’s start massaging:

Tip: Before you get started, it can help to relax your partner by warming him up with a little foreplay first.

              1. Have him find a comfortable position, the most popular one is on the back.
              2. Lube up. Your fingers, his perineum (you know that area between his butt and his balls)and his anus. There can never be enough lube when it comes to anal.
              3. Start by massaging his perineum in a circular motion, gently putting pressure upwards into the body.
              4. When your partner is ready, start with one finger and gently massage the outside of his anus. Insert your finger gently and slowly so that your partner doesn’t tense up. You don’t want to just push on in there, you want to ease it on in.
              5. Gently curve your finger upwards towards the front of his body and slowly insert your finger about 3 to 4 inches until you feel the prostate. You may one to start with just an inch at a time and then gently pull back and forth, as your partner gets comfortable with sensation, especially if it’s a new experience.
              6. Massage the prostate in a back and forth, come hither or circular motion. It may even feel good to apply a little pressure for a few seconds, but be careful not to apply too much. Be wary of using the tips of your fingers to prevent any scratching.
              7. Keep applying the motion that feels best to your partner for an incredible orgasm they won’t soon forget.

Remember to always be gentle with your partner to prevent any internal damage and discomfort.

Tips: Don’t want to use your fingers, try a prostate massaging toy instead and you can also incorporate a handjob into the prostate massage to make for a more comfortable and exciting experience.

No partner, no problem, this technique can be self applied in conjunction with masturbation for an amazing orgasm.

The most important thing you can do is start slow, take your time, communicate and pay attention to your partner.

That’s right, we’re talking about pony play.

              What is ponyplay?

Ponyplay is a type of role play within the pet play family, in which the bottom assumes the role of an equid. The bottom may be referred to as a ponygirl or ponyboy. During pony play, the Trainer/Owner is typically the Top or Dominant.

Pony play will typically come down to two General Types:

Forced: This is where the bottom is consensually forced to take the role and still considers themselves human.

Equine Role Play: This is where the bottom fully embraces the role and while in play has no human persona.

Many times the pony will be given and adopt a different name used during play.

You absolutely do not need any equipment to take part and enjoy pony play. But if you want to add in equipment, there is a lot you can use to enhance the experience.

              Pony Tack

Like any equine work, you will need Tack. You will need items such as, but definitely not limited to:

              – Saddles

              – Bits

              – Crops

              – Hoof Boot and Mits

              – Body Suits

              – Bridals Reins

              – Brushes

              – Hobbles

              – Plumes

              – Blinders

And much more to properly set up and care for your pony. Again while not necessary, it can bring a whole new level to the play. However, it can get costly. Take your time and make sure you enjoy this type of play before going all in.

              Some Types of Ponies

              – Work Ponies- Strong ponies that can handle heavy loads of work.

              – Pleasure Ponies- Some ponies are strictly maintained for the pleasure their Owners.

              – Show Ponies- Ponies training for shows, events and dressage.

              – Cart Ponies- Used to pull carts either alone or part of a cart team.

              – Riding Ponies- Carries their Owners and others.

              – Breeding Ponies- Engages in sex with other ponies. (It is not necessarily for actual breeding purposes.)

              Pony Training

Pony training is the staple of the play. It can also be extremely involved. Pony training is one of the most involved of any pet play and any play for that matter. Much of the training takes its traditions from actual horse training and can be very in depth. For that reason ,this is just a few samples of what might be included in pony training:

              – Basic training may include things such as leading, tying and grooming.

              – Intermediate training will look at much of the tack. Using reins, bits and crops for example.

              – Gating is training that usually refers to training the pony on walking, trotting, galloping, cantering and longeing.

              – More advanced training may include things such as driving, leg yielding and some will even mix in Veterinarian play.

No matter what level you’re at with your pony play, if you enjoy it, it is sure to create a strong bond between Owner/pony.

This is just a basic overview and definitely not a complete guide to Pony Play. Do your homework and learn as much as possible if this is something you enjoy or are interested in.

It’s time to talk about the wide world of anal toys, what are they made of, how to keep them clean and some different types out there.

When it comes to choosing the right toy for anal play, you want to above all, make sure it’s safe. Look for products labeled food-grade or medical grade. Also look for products labeled Phthalate-free. Make sure you do your research and read the reviews on any anal toy you purchase, because unfortunately just because they look and appear to be labeled the same, doesn’t make it so. And yes, read the little book that comes with it too.

              What Are They Made Of:

              1. Silicone- These anal toys are said to be some of the more safer, softer toys because silicone is both non-porous and hypoallergenic. Silicone toys can vary in flexibility and firmness and can be a comfortable choice for beginners. When selecting silicone products make sure they are high quality, 100% silicone. This material can be comfortable for more long-term wear. Lubes to Use: If you’re using silicone, skip the silicone based lube, you want to use a nice water based lube instead. Silicone lubes can deteriorate a silicone toy and make it easier for bacteria to form. We definitely don’t want that, especially when it comes to anal toys.
              2. Jelly- A blend of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and rubber, these malleable toys are known to contain Pthlatates. Jelly toys are also porous and will need immediate cleaning to keep them safe for play. Lubes to Use: Do not use with oil based lubes, opt for a water or silicone lube instead.
              3. Glass- Anal toys aren’t just made from any glass, they are made from borosilicate glass(Pyrex). This glass is non-toxic and non-porous. Obviously, glass toys will be hard and rigid and may not be as comfortable for longer use. The ability of glass toys to hold both heat and cold, make it great for sensation play. Always make sure to inspect your glass toys before and after each use for cracks, because although it’s a durable material, it’s not invincible. Lubes to use- Water, oil or silicone, it’s whatever your pleasure with glass anal toys.
              4. Rubber- A soft, porous material, that while flexible doesn’t have near the bend of a silicone or jelly toy. When selecting a rubber based toy, use caution if you have a latex allergy, as some rubber blends may contain latex. Lubes to Use- Avoid oil based lubes here. Water or silicone based lubes are better for rubber.
              5. Metal- Smooth and sturdy, metal anal toys can offer a more intense experience. All metals are not created equal, so you’ll want to make sure you select a high quality safe metal, such as surgical steel. Lubes to Use: It’s user’s preference when it comes to choosing a lube for a metal anal toy, since they’re compatible with oil, silicone and water based lubes.

              How to Keep Them Clean:

All toys should be inspected during cleaning for any cracks, damage or deterioration to prevent injury and bacterial growth.

For non-porous toys: Heat resistant non-porous anal toys can be boiled for 10 minutes and then cooled to be cleaned. For those with a less heat resistant constitution, clean with a mild antibacterial soap and warm water.

For porous toys: Never use any abrasive substance or material when cleaning a porous surface, as it could damage it and allow bacteria to form more easily. Use a mild antibacterial soap and warm water to clean. Porous materials can not be sanitized. Remember any toy made from a porous material can become a bacteria hangout, so using condoms and immediate proper cleaning is especially important for these types.

              Different types of Anal Toys:

              -Anal Dilators

              -Tail Plugs

              -Inflatable Plugs

              -Jeweled Plugs

              -Training Plugs

              -Prostate Massagers

              -Anal Hooks

              -Anal Beads

              -Vibrating Plugs

This is by no means a comprehensive guide to anal toys, just a some of the most common materials, some general guidelines on how to keep them clean and some different types of anal toys you might find or want to explore.

Gags are generally used to inhibit use of the mouth by inserting something into it to prevent speech or noise or to keep it open.

In the world of kink, the purpose for the use of gag can be so much more far-reaching. It could be the sight, control, or even the function it provides. No matter what your purpose, it’s a big world of gags and it can be hard to know which one to choose.

              Do’s

              •Have non-verbal safewords

•Ensure gag is made from safe material

              •Frequently check on your bottom

•Set time limits if you’re just starting out

•Have scissors for quick release in case of emergencies

•Make sure the gag is in good condition to prevent any accidental swallowing

•Make sure your bottom can breathe

              •Clean and disinfect your gags

•Remember that some materials are porous and fluids can not be completely cleaned from those

              Don’t

•Leave your bottom unattended with a gag in

•Play with a gag with a bottom that has a cold or any sinus problems

•Leave a gag in for too long, especially for those just beginning

•Use a gag on a bottom that has an upset stomach

              Types

Most all gags inhibit any kind of coherent speech, though they all won’t keep your bottom silent, and drooling seems to be a pretty common side effect of the use of most types of as well.

Ball Gag- A typical ball gag is a round gag, generally made from rubber, silicone, or plastic with a strap to secure it around the bottom’s head. To use this gag, the ball is put in the mouth behind the teeth and secured by the strap around the head. A ball gag can be solid or may have small holes that make it easier for breathing, known as a wiffle ball gag.

O-Ring- This is much like a ball gag, only instead of a ball it has on open O-shaped ring in its place. This type of gag is very breathable and allows for full access to the mouth.

Bit – This type of gag is cylinder shaped and can be made from a variety of materials such as leather, plastic, or rubber. The gag is placed between the bottom’s teeth and is held in place by either a harness or straps. Since this gag is worn much like a bridle, some feature reigns for added fun.

Inflatable- These come in all shapes and sizes. Inflatable gags start off small and are fully adjustable to fill the bottom’s mouth. Some, like a round or penis shaped bulb, are inserted into the bottom’s mouth and pumped up to the desired size. The butterfly gag is another inflatable gag, it is very difficult to keep in because the bulb goes behind the teeth, while the wings are placed between the teeth and the lips. Most inflatable gags have adjustable straps or require the use of an O-ring to secure it.

Over the mouth- This type of gag can include a wide variety of styles and materials. Tape, muzzles, scarfs…you get the idea, pretty much anything you put over the mouth to hinder the bottom’s ability to speak could fall into this category. The cleave is a type of over the mouth variant that includes pulling the material in between the bottom’s teeth and securing it around the head.

Forniphilic-This type of gag is used to objectify and humiliate a bottom. The gag is a mount that allows for a variety of tools to be attached. It is secured with a muzzle gag to give the bottom better control of the of the mounted tool. The attached tool, like a toilet brush, an ashtray, or a dildo, allows the bottom to perform a task or a service for the Top.

Funnel- This gag is popular for those into water sports. It is pretty much what it sounds like, a funnel that is connected to a tube that is placed in the bottom’s mouth and secured by straps to the head. This type of gag is used to force the bottom to drink a fluid or fluids of the Top’s choosing. Caution should be used to prevent choking.

Medical- Used for medical play, gags like the Whitehead or the Jennings, hold the mouth open for full access. Most all are made from stainless steel and can be ratcheting or have springs.

This is not a comprehensive guide to gags just a short overview of some of the most important do’s and don’ts and some of the gags available.
